Ana Paula Hernandez started Yoga in 2002, her first certification was in Vancouver BC under the guidance of Shakti Mhi at Prana Yoga College.

There she began her passion for various styles, forms, and teachers starting a series of certifications: Yin Yoga under the guidance and first generation of Bernie Clark in 2004, continuing with Restorative Yoga and various advanced workshops in anatomy and Ayurveda.

Enthusiasm to heal the human body and learn new techniques led her to become certified in Mat Pilates under the guidance of Martha Hernandez also in Vancouver BC. In 2007 Ana started taking Ayurvedic cooking and medicine courses with Dr. Shiva Varma for a whole year.

Ana had the pleasure of being an active teacher from the beginning of her career, being a Senior Teacher at Prana Yoga College where she began to be part of the teacher certification teaching team.
Se became part of the Vancouver Corporate Yoga team teaching corporate classes throughout Down Town Vancouver and also administration and teaching at Yaletown Pilates.

In 2008 Ana returned to Mexico where she immediately started with a private Shala at home, in order to grow a yoga community and eventually form Drishti Center.

Due to the large retired community in Chapala, Ana began to study and develop techniques for older people with adaptations, use, and prop management.

In turn, she formally began training teachers under the Yoga Alliance YACEP YART200 YRT500 accreditation at Drishti Center.

In 2011 Ana took a certification in Thai Yoga Massage under the guidance of Richard Varney to improve her techniques and use of adjustments in therapeutic classes.

In 2012 Ana began to develop an interest in Ashtanga Yoga, learning from Marilyn Goder, and later in 2016 she took an immersion with Angie Flores at Drishti Center.

In 2013 and 2014 Ana took her certification in Prenatal Yoga and Yoga Kids under the guidance of Lorena Martínez Mitchel from Los Gatos California.

In 2015 Anthony Bogart, a well-known teacher in the United States moved to Ajijic and became part of Drishti Center. Since then Ana has been learning Therapeutic Yoga, Healing, Stabilization, Adjustments and Advanced Studies, Philosophy and Teaching Skills, all of those trainings under the guidance of Anthony.

In 2017 she undertook an adventure in Vancouver where for a week she reconnected with her yoga community and her Yin Yoga studies.

Later she took her Yoga Nidra Course certification at Drishti Center with Michelle Denis from NY, a well-known teacher in her field.

Part of her career has also been organizing Yoga retreats to Costa Alegre with international attendance where she not only takes charge of teaching but also diet and Ayurvedic, vegan or vegetarian menus.

She has experience in conducting large classes in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.

Currently, Ana Paula's most important focus is to share Yin Yoga around the world giving Masterclasses and training and applying the knowledge of advanced teachers and Yogis with the desire to deepen the subject.

In 2020 Ana moved Drishti Center online but still continuing in her tradition of varied and qualified instructors and classes.

With more than 20 years of experience Ana will always continue to search for new horizons and expand her knowledge in yoga.

Ana Paula Hernandez inicio con la Yoga en 2002, su primera certificación fue en Vancouver BC bajo la guía de Shakti Mhi en Prana Yoga College.

Ahí empezó su pasión por los diversos estilos, formas y maestros empezando una serie de certificaciones: Yin Yoga bajo la Guía y primera generación de Bernie Clark en 2004 siguiendo con Yoga Restaurativa y diversos talleres avanzados en anatomía y Ayurveda.

El entusiasmo por sanar al cuerpo humano y conocer nuevas técnicas la llevo a certificación en Mat Pilates bajo la guía de Martha Hernandez también en Vancouver BC.

En 2007 Ana comenzó a tomar cursos de medicina y cocina Ayurvedica con Dr. Shiva Varma por todo un año.

Ana tuvo la dicha de ser una maestra activa desde el inicio de su carrera, siendo Senior Teacher en Prana Yoga College donde inicio a formar parte del equipo docente de certificación para maestros.

Formo parte del equipo de Vancouver Corporate Yoga dando clases a corporativos en todo Down Town Vancouver y también administración y docencia en Yaletown Pilates.

En 2008 Ana regreso a México donde inmediatamente empezó con un Shala privado en casa, para así crecer sus números y formar Drishti Center.

Por la afluencia de comunidad retirada, Ana empezó a estudiar y desarrollar técnicas para gente mayor con adaptaciones uso y manejo de props.

A su vez comenzó a entrenar formalmente maestros bajo la acreditación de la Yoga Alliance YACEP YART200 YRT500 en Drishti Center.

En 2015 Anthony Bogart, un maestro bien conocido en Estados Unidos se trasladó a Ajijic formando parte de Drishti Center. Desde entonces Ana ha estado aprendiendo el Yoga Terapéutico, la Curación, la estabilización, los ajustes y los estudios avanzados, filosofía y las habilidades de enseñanza, todos esos entrenamientos bajo la guía de Anthony.

En 2017 emprendió una aventura en Vancouver donde durante una semana se volvió a conectar con su comunidad de yoga y sus estudios en Yin Yoga.

De regreso en tomó su certificación Curso de Yoga Nidra en Drishti Center con Michelle Denis de NY una maestra muy reconocida en su ramo.

Parte de su carrera también ha sido organizar retiros de Yoga a Costa Alegre con concurrencia internacional donde no sólo se hace cargo de la docencia también de dieta y menús ayurvedicos, veganos o vegetarianos.

Tiene la experiencia de dirigir clases masivas en inglés y español o traducción simultánea
Actualmente el foco más importante de Ana Paula es compartir Yin Yoga por todo el mundo dando con Máster clases y entrenamientos aplicando el conocimiento de maestros y Yogis avanzados con deseos de profundizar en el tema.

En 2020 Ana traslado Drishti Center con una plataforma internacional de maestros en línea
Creando un estudio virtual con alcance a estudiantes de todo el mundo.

Con más de 20 años de experiencia Ana siempre seguirá buscando nuevos horizontes y ampliar su conocimiento en la yoga.
