I grew up in a community where Bhakti Yoga was the central focus; this experience along with the spiritual discipline was the foundation of my commitment to living a purposeful life.
In the summer of 2010 I took my first Teacher Training, an experience that transformed me entirely, and still continuous to doing so.
In my classes you will experience authenticity, creativity, connection and playfulness. I utilize my heart and a mix of physical and verbal queues as a way to guide my students so they gain a deeper understanding of their own practice. While my primary teaching styles are Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative Yoga tailored to athletes, I continue my education through personal practice and mentorship.
My desire is to provide a safe and fun environment for people to cultivate awareness, physical strength and an overall sense of well-being. I strongly believe in the importance of slowing down, the power of intention, body alignment and that each individual is free to define what yoga means to them and how it translates into their life.
